Job Description

Location : Harrison, Arkansas

Duration : 6 months

Network Voice

HiPath 4000/ 3000, Hicom 300  Service Technicians, recommended is __ years of practical experience with installation and maintenance of HiPath 4000 /3000 Hicom300 standalone systems, HiPath 4000 networks as well as HiPath HG 3500/HG1500.

Technical Knowledge:-

The candidate for the above position needs the following knowledge:

· Advanced knowledge of the HiPath 4000 /3000 Hicom300 communication system including

o Hardware and system features

o Platform related access points and work points

o Networking configurations and features within the same system family

o VoIP functionality of HiPath HG3500 /HG1500

o Internet telephony via SIP protocol

o System troubleshooting and remote administration


· Advanced knowledge of HiPath license management and HiPath administration


· Basic knowledge of networking with OpenScape Voice and HiPath 3000

o Advanced knowledge of the underlying technologies such as telecommunication technologies and
   protocols

o Network technologies and protocols (LAN/WAN)

o Voice over IP (VoIP)

o Quality of Service

o Mobility technologies

The candidate is involved in the following activities:

· Installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of HiPath 4000/3000 Hicom300 communication
  systems and Expressions Voice mail system including necessary tasks for system generation with work points
  and access points

· Performing necessary tasks for system generation including work points

· Configuration and administration of HiPath 4000 networks (TDM and IP)
· Configuration of basic network connections to HiPath 3000 and OpenScape Voice
. Configuration and report  generation of ACD and UCD groups
. System backups
· Installation, configuration and administration of HiPath HG 3500 for VoIP (IP work points)
· Troubleshooting in the HiPath 4000/3000 Hicom300 communication platform (standalone and 
    networked systems) with work points and access points
· Remote administration and remote maintenance of the above Siemens systems
· Commissioning including telephone user instruction


Others:
·        Certification- SCCA Hipath Field Technician 4000 / UCCP Service HiPath 4000
·        Excellent Customer Interaction skills
·        Excellent communication and presentation skills.
·        Excellent vendor co-ordination skills.     

·        Experience in managing critical situations.
